As a Junior Lawyer within the Legal Department, you will support the company’s legal activities by providing practical, business-oriented legal advice across a range of matters.
You will collaborate with the existing legal team to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, assist in managing legal risk, and contribute to contractual and advisory work across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, including software licenses, NDAs, SLAs, employment contracts, and lease agreements.
- Prepare internal corporate documents, such as minutes, resolutions, and powers of attorney etc.
- Support interactions with regulators, company registrars, corporate service providers, etc. and assist with annual compliance obligations for international entities.
- Assist in managing intellectual property matters, including filings, reports, claims, and protection measures.
- Handle complaints and pre-litigation matters, including legal research.
- Support due diligence and advise on compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research and ensure corporate compliance with applicable legal frameworks.
Requirements & Qualifications
- LLB Law degree from an accredited university, LLM considered desirable.
- Being a member of the Cyprus Bar Association will be considered an advantage.
- 2–3 years of legal experience, ideally in both private practice and in-house.
- Basic knowledge of commercial law, contracts, corporate governance, IP, and compliance.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
