Working hours: day or night shifts (3 persons in rotation)
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the IT infrastructure: identifying failures in servers, network nodes and critical services
- Troubleshooting:
- In Windows Server operating systems
- In the Company’s product (Ultency Matching Engine)
- In MetaTrader5 trading servers
- Network outages
- Providing Level 1 technical support to users via the ticketing system
- Documenting solutions in the knowledge base, escalating complex issues to system administrators and developers.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year’s experience in IT technical support (or an internship + technical education).
- Windows administration skills:
- OS installation/recovery, working with the Windows Registry
- Understanding of system events (Event Viewer), BSOD diagnostics
- Ability to work with the command line (CMD)
- Basic knowledge of networking technologies:
- Understanding of how the network protocols works
- Ability to analyse issues using ping, tracert, ipconfig
- Willingness to work night/morning shifts on a 24/5 rota.
- Analytical mindset: ability to reproduce user/system errors and identify root causes of failures.
Will be a plus:
- Knowledge of PowerShell and bash scripts
- Knowledge of MetaTrader 5
- Experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana)
